UPDATE ON FRISO

UPDATE ON FRISO

Unfortunately Friso has managed to chip his Stifle joint running around in his paddock.

Not sure how but he is now confined for approx 15 months and not allowed to run kick or hoon around like he loves to do.

We were about to start to compete at advanced level dressage. I am hoping we can pick it back up at the end of his rest period. This is what will teach patience to us both. He goes out for walks every day and a chance to have a pick at the green grass. In the meantime he is getting the full treatment a bit of acupuncture, Jent therapy, and anything else that can help with healing and keeping him sane.

Friso loves all the attention he is getting. Jade a young local girl on work experience is enjoying spoiling Friso.

RAIN AT MT DARRAGH FRIESIANS

RAIN AT MT DARRAGH FRIESIANS

Lots of rain fell over 3 days in fact just over 400 mm! This raging torrent which was a mere trickle just days before.

Dams overflowing rivers through the paddocks and wet horses.  The rain was very welcomed though as sets us up for a good winter and starts the growth of winter grasses.

BREEZE

BREEZE

Breeze has made the grade and is now officially a member of the NSW Mounted Police Force.

His new name is Bodie (not sure of spelling). Watch this space. What a trooper lol

TOFE

TOFE

Tofe has gone to her new home up Newcastle way. Tofe’s new owners are Jenna and Andrew.

She was a gem to travel and has settled well and has a new paddock mate that I am sure is happy with the new addition.

We are looking forward to her future progress and adventures at her new home
